Ocean Pearl | Edition of 29
From altitude above the Faroe Islands, the tide pulls back to reveal a tidal formation so luminous and precisely shaped it looks placed rather than made. Twenty-nine prints exist of this moment.

"The quality of the images was greater than I could have ever hoped for. I am proud to call myself a collector of his work."
Matthew D. ·
The ocean at low tide creates formations that exist for hours before the water returns and erases them entirely. Ocean Pearl captures one of those formations at the precise moment its shape was most complete — a circular pool of water left in a depression in the tidal flat, catching the light like something set in stone. From altitude, the surrounding textures of wet sand and retreating water frame it perfectly.
Twenty-nine prints. Once the edition is closed, this image will not be reprinted. Each arrives hand-signed and numbered by Tobias Hägg on 308g Hahnemühle museum-grade fine art paper, with a Certificate of Authenticity confirming its place in the edition.
