Airpixels  ·  Environment  ·  Stockholm, Sweden

We photograph the natural world.
We have a responsibility to protect it.

Every Airpixels image begins with a flight above a landscape that depends on the health of the natural world. This is how the studio gives something back.

“The landscapes I photograph are the same ones that are disappearing. It felt wrong to keep shooting them without doing something about it.”

Tobias Hägg  ·  Airpixels

What we do

Two commitments.
Both permanent.

Trees

One Tree Planted

A portion of every sale goes to One Tree Planted — a reforestation organisation operating across six continents. The trees planted through this programme restore habitats, support biodiversity and help offset carbon emissions from production and shipping.

The forests Tobias photographs in Scandinavia and beyond are the same forests this programme is working to protect and expand.

Oceans

The Tide

The Tide is an ocean conservation organisation working to remove plastic from coastlines and fund marine research. Monthly contributions from Airpixels go directly to these efforts.

Several of the most-loved prints in the collection — the Seychelles, the Norwegian fjords, the Western Australian coast — are images of ocean environments. The ocean is the subject. Protecting it is the obligation.

How it works

Every purchase contributes.
No opt-in required.

This is not a scheme that requires extra steps at checkout or a separate donation box to tick. A portion of every sale goes to One Tree Planted and The Tide automatically — built into how the studio operates, not added on top of it.

None of this is on the label. There is no sustainability badge on the prints, no logo on the packaging. It is simply how the business works. The art we make should not come at the expense of the environments that make it possible.

“The art we make should not come at the expense of the environments that make it possible.”
