Popsicle | Seychelles
From altitude above the Seychelles, a single wave crosses pale sand - turquoise water thinning to a translucent edge, the foam line caught at the exact moment before it disappears into the shore.

"The quality of the images was greater than I could have ever hoped for. I am proud to call myself a collector of his work."
Matthew D. ·
At ground level a breaking wave is noise, spray and movement. From altitude it becomes something else entirely - a flat colour field with a precise curved boundary, the water behind it deep turquoise, the sand ahead of it pale cream, and the wave itself a thin translucent band where the two meet. The silky fine coral sand of the Seychelles beaches amplifies this effect - the water spreads further and thinner before it recedes than it would on coarser sand, extending that moment of transition into something the camera can hold.
The image is almost entirely abstract - two colours, one line, no horizon. It works in any interior that needs something with a light, coastal palette but without the visual complexity of a conventional beach photograph.
