Desert Veins | Goblin Valley, Utah
From directly above Goblin Valley, Utah, the eroded sandstone hoodoos dissolve into pure pattern - red rock channels and formations carved over millions of years, readable as geology from the ground and as abstract composition from altitude.

"The quality of the images was greater than I could have ever hoped for. I am proud to call myself a collector of his work."
Matthew D. ·
Goblin Valley State Park in southern Utah is one of the most visually singular places on earth — a valley filled with thousands of mushroom-shaped hoodoos, sculpted from Entrada sandstone over 200 million years of erosion. From the ground it is surreal. From altitude it becomes something else entirely: the hoodoos flatten into a repeating texture, the channels between them become graphic lines, and the whole landscape reads as an abstract composition that nature made without any intention of being viewed this way.
Desert Veins is that view — the overhead perspective that reveals the geological structure of Goblin Valley as pure form. A warm, textural image that brings something ancient and specific into any interior. Works in any space that can hold a strong earth-toned print.
