Ridgeline | Sossusvlei, Namibia
From altitude above Sossusvlei, the knife-edge ridgeline of a Namib dune divides the frame into two worlds - the lit face burning orange, the shadow side cooling to deep violet, a single line separating them with absolute precision.

"The quality of the images was greater than I could have ever hoped for. I am proud to call myself a collector of his work."
Matthew D. ·
The dunes of Sossusvlei in the Namib Desert are among the tallest in the world — some reaching over 300 metres — and they have been shaped by the same winds for 55 million years. At the right hour, when the sun hits at a low angle, the ridgeline of a dune becomes the sharpest line in any landscape on earth: one side fully lit, the other in complete shadow, the contrast between them absolute.
From altitude that line becomes the entire composition. Ridgeline is about reduction — a landscape distilled to its single most essential element. The warm palette of Sossusvlei sand against deep shadow makes it one of the most striking prints in the collection. Works in large format on a wall that needs presence.
